Story was drawn out
Story took too long to tell. Dr Cross as usual escapes each life threatening, impossible situation. This narrator is dreadful. Flat, lifeless, slow.

Alex Cross is not the same character!
Knowing that his friend and her family were killed because of what she knew, Alex Cross was surprised when his own family was kidnapped and possibly killed!! He never followed good advice and put himself and everyone around him at risk. The character is so full of his own self importance and mission he doesn’t consider anyone else. I think the author is letting go of the original Alex Cross character and writing on a factory assembly line. Letting go of good character and plot development to write sensationalistic plots with little planning or depth. It’s all about churning out Alex Cross is a Hero thoughtless stories!

Not one of my favourites
Big fan of Alex Cross but this one not so much. Every other book family comes first, but this one they didn’t.
