Im Juli 2006 erschien ein Artikel im Fachmagazin Psychological Science, der besagt, dass dein Gegenüber nicht - wie bisher angenommen - ungefähr eine Minute braucht, um dich einschätzen.
Dazu reicht bereits eine Zehntelsekunde.
Ich würde sagen, dass diese Einschätzung den Nagel auf den Kopf trifft. Als ich Silas McBride zum ersten Mal gesehen habe, war mir sofort klar, dass er zu attraktiv ist, um nett zu sein. Zu egoistisch, um Rücksicht zu nehmen. Zu bösartig, um mein Bestes im Sinn zu haben.
Und trotzdem habe ich seine Hand genommen, als er sie mir hingehalten hat. So fühlt es sich also an, einen Pakt mit dem Teufel zu schließen...
