Between running a garage full of beefed-up gear-head mechanics and bailing my idiot brother out of trouble every other week, the last thing I have time for is a relationship.
I’ve tried it too many times, and the ridiculous reasons I always find to end it have become a running joke around the garage. But I’ve learned my lesson. No. More. Boyfriends.
I don’t care how many times Porter falls asleep drunk in my bed or how cute he looks covered in oil smears while I teach him how to fix up the vintage car he has rusting away in his garage; I’m not going to fall for him.
Even if I did, what do a mechanic and a veterinarian have in common anyway?
It’s better if we’re only friends…friends who occasionally fiddle with each other’s crankshafts....

Absolutely adorkable!
Crankshaft is book one in the Big Bull Mechanic series. A MM romance spin off of Four Bears Construction.
I absolutely loved the low angst shenanigans featuring older characters that came from Four Bears Constructions. So naturally I couldn't wait to dive into Crankshaft after getting a teaser of what was to come and I wasn't disappointed.
Neuhold delivers a light hearted, sometimes fluffy but always funny read. This is exactly why I keep coming back to these series.
Steele is a mechanic with an adorable slight undisciplined husky puppy and bad luck with dating due to being a little too picky according to his friends. Porter is the adorkable vet, struggling to find his place now he's running the practice. The chemistry between these two is fantastic, plus they're so damn cute together!
Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo are a fascistic duo to bring to life this light hearted MM romance. Highly recommend giving this a listen and if you haven't already start Four Bears Construction too

Cringy cute but perfect for long highway drive....

Funny & cute!
I originally read this book but listening to it on re-read was even better, Liam & Tim really being the guys to life. Love how fumbling Porter is at times when it comes to men even though he’s a smart cookie in the business world. As with the Four Bears series this has a great supporting cast that bring lots of humour and banter. An enjoyable funny light listen.
