About this listen
It's not easy being a space pirate....
Actually, wait. Yes it is. It's keffing awesome.
The three va Sithai brothers - that's us - cruise the universe looking for abandoned ships, treasure, and other pirate ships to rob. Right now, we're on the hunt for the Buoyant Star, an abandoned cruiser rumored to have a massive treasure inside. The ship's been found at the edge of an ice field at the far reaches of space.
That treasure? About to be all ours. But the ship's not all that abandoned. The Star is crewed by a few lonely, attractive human females who are thoroughly grateful at being rescued....
Actually, wait. They're not grateful at all. They've set us a trap, and their leader, a beautiful human female named Jade, gives me a smile just before she captures me.
It's official. I'm in love.

Loved the story but narration was mispronounced
I so loved this story that setup this series.
But it really bothered me that Hollie Jackson, I believe, every now and again mispronounced the way Adiron. It just irked me. Not Hollie Jackson's best narration but Mason Lloyd was on point. 4 stars
The story itself though was the bees knees. 5 stars
I cannot wait for the rest of series.

Awesome story! Easy listening
Great book just a little slow on the plot but the usual predictable and easy listening we know and love this author for.

Another awesome series beginning
Thank you Ruby!, Hollie, and Mason!
Adiron and Jade..
This was a funny, entertaining and witty repartee filled adventure, love story, that I have come to expect from Ruby Dixon..
With the beautiful blue aliens and a sassy human the saga continues..
With pirates and taboo treasure and double crossing and evil ex's and surprising alies that pop out and perfectly timed rescues..
What more could we ask for.. oh yeah...
Wonderful narration by Hollie and Mason..

one of my faves
Adiron is loveable and made even more so by Mason Lloyd's narration. it's a fun story with all of Ruby Dixon's humour and charm. reread three times already.

great story
I loved ice planet barbarians and stopped after 10 books in as the theme and storyline stayed the same, which is ok but I felt I needed a change.
this is my return to ruby dixon and at least I have a blue alien background...this is a bit drawn out but I moved through it.
just as I thought I'd stop, something happens.
I'm a tall, dark and broody type of gal so Adiron isn't really my cup of tea...ruby does a great job of creating a different character and his personality...but for the storyline I don't quite settle into his persona. there are some lol moments and clever quirky lines but I prefer the mood of the ice planet barbarians.
it's a great start to the series and i can see it sets things up for future books. good steam as usual and a different heroine as a whole is a delight. not a lot of romance as Adiron and the predicament doesn't really allow for it.
I haven't listened to Zoe's story or Kats but I can guess that series plotline.
I'm hoping Kaspar is a little bit more involved and page turning...quicker than this one.
narrator's are brilliant as usual..I listened to them throughout the IPB series.
