The corona of coronation commentaries
Poor Charles was such a small vessel for all that sacralisation, the cup runneth over and Alan runs with the slops. Stream of consciousness has never been this soaked and digressive.

Back of the net!
A good sign of things to come, with another series of the podcast and the book, it’s looking like a Partridge back end of the year.

Partridge at His Classic Best
Once again , Alan brings his immaculate flair and je ne sais pas (as our former European now foreign Gallic neighbours might say ) to the coverage of a historic moment. The BBC were fools not to pick him up for this regal commentary role. SO GOOD !

I couldn’t love this more
Every line is gold. How can this character just keep getting better and better with age? Long live the Partridge!
