Publisher's Summary
The key to success in life and business is to become a master at Conversational Intelligence. It's not about how smart you are, but how open you are to learn new and effective powerful conversational rituals that prime the brain for trust, partnership, and mutual success. Conversational Intelligence translates the wealth of new insights coming out of neuroscience from across the globe, and brings the science down to earth so people can understand and apply it in their everyday lives. Author Judith Glaser presents a framework for knowing what kind of conversations trigger the lower, more primitive brain; and what activates higher-level intelligences such as trust, integrity, empathy, and good judgment. Conversational Intelligence makes complex scientific material simple to understand and apply through a wealth of easy to use tools, examples, conversational rituals, and practices for all levels of an organization.

Poor narration and flow
The content is interesting however I did not like the narration or how the book flowed and some of the word choices were annoying after a while.
Overall disapointing.

Loved it!
We all communicate each and everyday though we waste a lot of our conversations on wasted dialogue that really has no substance. Some of it ends in disagreements or arguments and doesn't get us anywhere. My take on Conversational Intelligence is really having an impact with our dialogue and really 'co-creating' conversations to a point that we feel we are heard and understood, also to have listened and understood the other person that we both get a lot out of conversation and grow within from them all. Loved it!

great! loved it.
Conversational Intelligence really is a great wealth of opportunity to gain knowledge about human conversation with neuroscience. Just a enough neuroscience for me would say the mix is perfect. Judith has great teaching on offer. This should be taught in every management qualification!

i dont like the narration
i stopped listening after 1st chapter because the narration was unbearable. sounded like narration on one of those cheap tv adds where they are trying to sell the ordinary gadget by offering loads of discounts and special gifts after gifts - you know the adds where they even include a set of steak knives! ironically the narrators intonation was so up, up up up it was so far from a natural converseration, it was exhausting to listen to! will finish the book by reading.

Great content, terrible narration
The content in this book is very good however this could have been a shorter book. The person reading the book has done a terrible job by using monotone and it makes it even harder to complete the book.
