About this listen

No longer playing as a Local from the world of Continue Online, Grant Legate’s adventure can begin. The Voices offer him a unique title along with a test and reward. wouldve given 2 stars but it was overall alright

these repetitve sob story is annoying me rather than allowing me to sympathize with the protagonist. especially in my case, where i listened to book 1 and 2 in one hit.

once again the book starts off slow but kept my interest. only down side is there was no moments in the book that made an impact or draws the listeners back. its judt a linear story you listen to only if you want to. not because you cant help but press that play button to see what happens next.

overall it was another interesting addition to grant leggets adventures.

where is this story going?

I'm not sure if it's because I'm burnt out on VR novels or not, because I found this hard to get through without falling asleep, It's like the story is focusing on a side character rather than the main one, he is given so many hand holding moments, with the first time bonuses being a joke, like for the gambling casino bonus thing, would a casino manager try and open a casino before an accountant who occasionally plays cards? skills and stats seem to have little importance because you can't compare and contrast as the premise stipulates the player not knowing what the game is about is due to censorship?

You would think that after two years, and the fact that the a.i has already downloaded tons of info, that these get ahead strats would have died out. You can noticeably tell where the author has put effort and where they have not which makes the story less appealing as there is quite a lot of fluff.
