Impractical advice
I wouldn't try some of the advice such as the "repetitive technique". You will definitely sound stupid or the person you're talking to will feel you think they're stupid for repeating your reasons over & over. Another advice re what to say when you arrived late at work. It suggested to stop giving excuses like traffic is heavy. Instead say "I did not take care of my car...". That sounds irresponsible, not a wise advice. Most of the advice, you really just need to use common sense. Some advice sounds confrontational or insulting.
