About this listen

In this brilliantly entertaining and heartfelt memoir, beloved star and comic maverick Bob Odenkirk writes honestly about the highs and lows of showbiz: his work on infamous cult comedy Mr. Show, as a performer and writer on legendary series such as The Larry Sanders Show and Saturday Night Live, becoming everyone's favourite lawyer in global hit TV series' Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, and what it's like to reinvent himself as an action film ass-kicker at 50 in Nobody. Bob Odenkirk's career is inexplicable. And yet he will try like hell to explicate it for you....

Featuring humorous tangents, wild characters and Bob's trademark unflinching drive and humour, Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama is a classic showbiz tale told by a determined idiot.

Good memoirs

Probably only for fans of Bob, there's not wider illumination to life, TV or Hollywood, but if you fall into the category of person who has enjoyed some or all of those career, it's an excellent take and very well narrated.

So much more than Jimmy McGill

I loved this memoir from start to finish and I couldn't think of a better way to enjoy it than hearing it from the mouth of the man himself. His family life and his career are both told with a seemingly genuine warmth, honesty and humility that makes you feel like you're sitting down with an old friend letting them tell you stories over (many) cups of coffee. There's so much to Bob than I could have possibly imagined.

Bob is witty, intelligent and most of all, down to earth.

Bob is Hilarious and has many great stories to share in his book. From his days as a comedy star to playing Saul and then becoming an action hero, this was a pleasure to listen to.

Not as good as I hoped

I love Bob Odenkirk. His role in Breaking Bad and Better call Saul was just fantastic. I had listened to an interview of him on a podcast and it was hilarious. I guess I was expecting more of the same. This book spends a lot of time telling the story about his history with comedy. He rattles off lots of names, lots of places and it all gets a little boring.
