About this listen
There are three things you need to know about Shane P. I.
- P.I. is not her last name, it's her job title
- Her specialty is catching cheaters
- She's a superhuman - kind of.
Gabriel is a security expert for Cipher Security, and a former UN Peacekeeper with a fierce protective streak that finds its focus on the beautiful P.I. Their attraction is like an elephant in a room full of breakable things, and figuring out how to trust each other with their hearts, and maybe their lives, is the most fragile thing of all.
Contains mature themes.

Relatable
I really enjoyed how the feelings and running throughts were all so relatable. I also liked how pop culture was thrown in as well. Overall a great story and cannot wait to start the next one.

strong, caring, smart, hot feminist? I'm in.
nice to get a male romantic interest who isn't a toxic mess. it was so nice to have a romance where the woman wasn't tiny and in need of protection. her choices and decisions were trusted and supported. I need more of this kind of romance!

Okay... but nothing special
Story was underwhelming and predictable. Story had potential, but didn't really go anywhere. I enjoyed the characters, however the plot was a bit unrealistic. The female lead was especially great and well narrated. It's an okay read, nice to pass the time with but not memorable.
