About this listen
What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They're both ice cold, but one taste is never enough.
I wanted to be friends - I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd - but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind.
I'd make my coworker fall for me.
I'd like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.
Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie's trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won't leave her alone. But I've never been good at giving up, and I don't plan to start now.
The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.
Contains mature themes.

Worth listening
Good story, funny and sweet. Narrators did an amazing job. I would listen to the rest of the books in this series

I love Meghan Quinn
The thing I love most about a Meghan Quinn book is how they never fail to make me laugh out loud. Her characters always do and say the stupidest stuff, and it tickles me. Honest to god, the scene where Sadie is training Andrew at work had me cackling at how ridiculous the whole thing was.
Of course, when people try to be funny there is always the risk of it coming out cringe. This one hugged the line for me. Some of the jokes were just repeated a few too many times or you had to roll your eyes and go “ok, calm down now”. But it was entertaining enough to get me through.
The narrators were good, though I am pretty sure the male voice also did another series I listened to where he was a super tough warrior guy. So it was super weird to then have him be a nerdy, super enthusiastic, kids sunshine guy. I got over it though 😎
CN for recent miscarriage and dealing with the grief of that.

What a surprise 🤭
It was a bit of struggle to get in to but then poof I couldn’t stop lol I have laughed and replayed parts over and over again.
The male narrator at first was strange, you can hear his exhales with every sentence kind of a put off-I eventually got used to him.
What a great bunch of supportive and kind friends with all their nicknames lol Andrew’s housemates😂
Andrew is such a dork lol but so genuine and the biggest and sweetest man.
Sadie with her struggles. I felt for her even shed a few tears too. I laugh cried about her “purse strap”
The one liners had me rolling lol sturdytits, cannoncock, whack her snatch lol
Great laugh. Corny. Really enjoyed this lol
Give this book a go. It might surprise you like it did to me😁

Narration wasn’t great on either side. Story was good
The male narrator wasn’t great. His voice characters made them all sound older or weirder than they were. The female narrator talked weirdly slow at times.
The story was good.. I didn’t realise it was interconnected to My Bestfriends Ex til the very end.
If you can’t push past the subpar narration try reading it instead. All in all it was ok.

Awesome
A funny story. I really liked the little ups and downs. Here and there life is just what life is. I look forward to the next book in the series thoroughly enjoyed.

Cringe!!
This book was so hard to get through. The male lead was so cringe worthy. Nothing about him was appealing at all! The story line itself could have been promising for a great book but everything was so off. The dialogue was so juvenile, almost like a group of 13 year old boys talking.
I couldn't feel any connection to the leads and so the book fell flat for me. I didn't find any romance within this story.
