About this listen
Is it snark if you're a dragon?
Nico, a young dragon of barely fifty, is rudely chased from his home by a group of murderous adventurers. Of his entire clutch, only he and one sister remained, but now he is alone. Isolated and hungry, Nico’s magic awakens, bonding him with Cami, a brave young woman.
To hide from the adventurers’ pursuit, Nico takes on human form. However, once they discover that both he and Cami have magical abilities, they are required by law to attend the Imperial Academy.
Of course, he has to hide his true nature, which isn't always easy given a dragon-sized ego.

Not Bad, but not great definitely not 5 stars.
Not trying to discourage listeners but this is definitely not Great but its not bad if you can get over a few things.
(Buckle up with spoilers)
Cons- Now to judge this book honestly the in my Opinion the MC is easily becomes a push over for a dragon and easily manipulated to the point he doesn't even really try to get even with the adventures or others who attacked him at the start or fact they stab him multiple times yet they all become friends at the end and he doesn't even hurt one of them to show he is a dangerous beast. Also I really really hate forced magical bonds to try and basically force a caring/romantic relationship and not making it have much chemistry. Yes the Mc is a young dragon yes he is prideful and stupid when it comes to humans but to make him and her instantly care and force a bonding with levels to it that makes him and her care more to get buffs that basically forces a relationship gah feels so wrong its like the writer doesn't want to build a bond naturally over time like many weeks or months no two weeks and then their lovers. Don't like that part and the academy doesn't come till the end of this book so that was disappointing. its just bad pacing to Save the world now and you will all suffer in a very short time rather then just letting the story progress naturally and take it from one stage to another rather then taking parts from like say book three and shoving it into book one even though it doesn't help the story progression really but its really important because its from book three type thing.
Pros-First off for a one voice actor Neil dose a good job with this book. The world is very interesting and its Heavy DND vibes with alot of stats almost too much. Very detailed in parts.
Yes I'll consider getting book two even if I skip chapters just the story moving and hear the good parts.
