About this listen
*With a foreword by Sir Peter Jackson*
Buckle up, grab a dram, and get ready for another unforgettable wild ride.
They're back! Stars of Outlander, Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish are no strangers to the rugged beauty of Scotland. But this time they're setting their sights on a new horizon: New Zealand.
Join our intrepid Scotsmen on their latest epic adventure across The Land of the Long White Cloud in this thrilling follow-up to Clanlands. Setting out to explore a country that Graham calls home, and that Sam has longed to visit, these sturdy friends immerse themselves in all that New Zealand has to offer: stunning landscapes, rich history, world-class food and drink, and - much to Graham's mounting anxiety and Sam's deep satisfaction - famously adrenaline-fuelled activities! As ever there's not nearly enough space in their trusty camper van and with plenty of good-natured competition and tormenting to go around, Sam and Graham's friendship is put to the test once again. Along the way we learn about the length and breadth of this jewel of the Southern Seas, exploring the fascinating story of its people while testing the very limits of Graham's sanity.
Like the very best buddy movie sequel, this latest instalment is full of unforgettable experiences and loveable characters and promises to be an even more memorable ride with two of the most entertaining travel companions around.
So, say goodbye to your inhibitions and kia ora to New Zealand like you've never seen it before.

So much fun. Sam and Graham have such excellent chemistry, their banter is wonderful, and their commentary as they explore the beautiful island of New Zealand is super enjoyable!

Enjoyable
I would have preferred less of the Outlander references in this one. Both men have more than earned their stripes to go outside the enclosed world of Outlander. The capabilities of narration by both Sam and Graham are clearly on display and thoroughly enjoyable to listen to. NZ's historical references are not something I've been terribly interested in however, Graham's research into NZ's past made the listening enjoyable. I also admired Sam's skills in pronunciation of the Maori language. While both the book and series are seperate entities, MinK2 should have reflected more of the visits outlined in the book. As companion pieces, this sadly lacked with only 4 episodes while the book was quite extensive.

The laughter
Not sure about the accents Sam!! In line with the original book. Sooooo much better than the TV series which was a bit disappointing mainly cos we didn't see the lads up in Northland and it left so much out.

Two friends on an epic adventure
This book gives great highlights of an epic trip round my home country here in New Zealand.
I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. The highlights for me were Grahams descriptions of his experiences were so detailed you almost felt like you were there with them. There were times in the book I had to stop listening as I was laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe. I definitely will be re reading this book again.

History, Adventure and 2 Good Friends
There's a great balance between Graham's historical accounts, Sam's insatiable appetite for adventure how to push a friendship to its boundaries and beyond. This is a great listen and you'll learn a lot about Graham, Sam and their host country New Zealand.
