Loved the performance

The way it was read is very engaging and I could tell the character of people by the tone of voice used. Thanks a lot

Great book two

I found it a little hard at the beginning so fast forward until I came to the city of ashes and then from there I felt more comfortable with the story that it continued with the first one

City of Ashes

Wow! I must admit, this book absolutely kicked off from where the first one finished and raised the bar multiple levels! I had so much fun with this one!

The number of twists and turns in this book… the emotional impact of some seriously challenging situations and the roller coaster of feelings set up an epic series of events. Cassandra Clare has done an amazing job at keeping us in the edge of our seats, just when we thought Clarry and Jase were meant to be… we are hit right between the eyes with them being brother and sister, both siblings of the evil Valentine! Or are they? Cassandra does an incredible job in her writing with teasing us just enough to make us question whether Jase and Clarry are really related, or is there more than meets the eye?

It would appear that the love triangle with Simon has finally come to an end, which is much better than the outcome we thought had come to pass of Simon’s death! And what an amazing cliffhanger we were left on, an old friend of Jocelyn, Clarry’s mum, has returned with the supposed cure for Jocelyn’s sleep, and the little fact that valentine didn’t do this to her, she did it to herself! Incredible!
