A Winterson Wonderland
Jeanette Winterson writes for me, at least that’s how this cosy feast of food and folk stories makes me feel. I loved it so much that when I finished it I began listening from the beginning again straight away. It’s not Christmas time, in fact we’re just into Spring where I live in Perth WA, but the winsome Winterson and the talented Church, transported me there and I was willing to suspend any reality to enjoy this Christmas folly.

Quite nice
This was quite nice to listen Christmas stories. Found some nicer than other. Liked the personal touch of narrator. But did enjoy.

An interesting listen
Some of the stories were a little uninteresting but overall the book was easy to listen to. I'm wondering if the narrator usually narrates children's books as I found her performance to be more for a children's audience.

Christmas plus more
I loved listening to Jeanettes personal stories about her life, her recipes, relationships and historical tidbits. She’s witty, smart and wise. I would love to be her neighbour or friend.
