Publisher's Summary
An approved textbook at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry since its first publication, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an indispensable guide to the magical beasts of the wizarding world. It showcases a menagerie of magical creatures, explained enchantingly by noted magizoologist, Newt Scamander, who you may remember from the film series of the same name.
And, who better to narrate this compendium of beasts than Eddie Redmayne, Oscar-winning star of the Fantastic Beasts films. The audiobook uses thrilling soundscapes to bring the beasts off the page.
The shelves of the Hogwarts Library are also home to many more fascinating books. If you have enjoyed Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them you might want to check out some of its other treasures: Quidditch Through the Ages and The Tales of Beedle the Bard.

I’m not that sure. It was all really good though
I loved the dragon one! It’s really great though! It’s the only book that I listen to while Harry Potter is not available

Hardcore fans will enjoy
Newt Scamander reads the A-Z descriptions of 81 magical beasts.
The most entertaining part of this audiobook was the location ambient backing tracks and actual sounds of the beast that accompany each beast description.
I felt as though those sounds alongside Eddie's reading really draw you into the experiencing the magical world just that tiny bit more than just reading the book on its own.
It gets an Outstanding from me.

Engaging, and charming
I was apprehensive at best about the reiteration of Fantastic Beasts (I owned the original muggle copy) and didn’t know how it would translate into audiobook.
But it does. Eddie Redmayne remains his lovely, charming version of Newt and speaks with the same excitement about these creatures as he does in the movie. It’s lovely, and a nice homage to a very well characterised Scamander.

Eddie Redmayne has done it again
He is the only Newt Scamander, his narration of Fantastic Beasts is just perfection. The detail in which J.K Rowling has goven us is her usual level of exception.

Great book. Awesome character.
It was great to here it narrated by "Newt Scamander" and it ties it to the movie very well. Also great to know that a donation is made to 2 charities as a part of purchasing this book.
