About this listen
CHERUB exists for the simplest of reasons: Even a master criminal doesn't suspect that the kid next door is a spy. When CHERUB uncovers a link between eco-terrorist group Help Earth and a wealthy religious cult known as The Survivors, James Adams is sent to Australia on an infiltration mission. It's his toughest job so far.
The Survivors' outback headquarters are completely isolated, and the cult's brainwashing techniques mean James is under massive pressure to conform. This time he's not just fighting terrorists. He's got to battle to keep control of his own mind.

A Trip Down Under
This is my first listen on Audible, having used other sources for the previous 4 Cherub books, and boy am I happy with my purchase.
It took a bit of adjusting to get used to Simon Scardifield’s accents for every character, but they really grew on me and I can’t imagine the characters any different.
Divine Madness is another incredible entry into the Cherub Series by Robert Muchamore despite the lack of action seen throughout the novel. Do not let that deter you though as the storytelling, characters, setting, and dialogue are all out of the world and Robert deserves all the praise for this.
Could not recommend enough, 5/5
P.S. do not listen to this before going to bed, I made the mistake and now I can’t fall asleep

The Australian accent
I started this series a few days ago and am already up to book 5. I’m loving the storyline’s, the antics of the kids and the intelligence and creativity of Robert Muchamore. I am also enjoying the narration. I don’t read in audio a lot as I like to put my own spin on the characters but Simon is doing a fabulous job…except for the Australian accent. Although somewhat amusing, ;) it does take away from the authenticity of the Australian characters. Overall a great narrator though. I hope there are many more yet to read in this series, I haven’t checked.

The Aussie Accent 🤦♂️
The story and narration were born amazing. The only issue I have with it is that the narrator puts on a kiwi accent for the Aussies.
