About this listen
Are you struggling with attention problems, mood swings, food obsession, or depression? Whatever the issue, you have far more control than you realize. In Change Your Diet, Change Your Mind, Dr Georgia Ede reveals that the most powerful way to change brain chemistry is with food - because that's where brain chemicals come from in the first place.
In this provocative, illuminating guide, Dr Ede explains why nearly everything we think we know about brain-healthy diets is wrong. The truth is that meat is not dangerous, vegan diets are not healthier, and antioxidants are not the answer. Change Your Diet, Change Your Mind will empower you to:
- Understand how unscientific research drives fickle news headlines and dietary guidance
- Evaluate yourself for signs of insulin resistance - the silent metabolic disease that robs your brain of energy
- Improve your mental health with a personalized plan to suit your own food preferences and health goals
Drawing on a wide range of scientific disciplines, including biochemistry, neuroscience, and botany, Dr Ede will ignite your curiosity about the fascinating world of food and its role in nourishing, protecting, and energizing your brain.

eye opening and fascinating depth
I love the depth and detail in this book and the clarity with which complex concepts including biochemical pathways and cause and effects of nutrition at a molecular level when it comes to mental health are covered in a way that is easy to understand. Dr Ede addresses the huge elephant in the room of nutritional advice with such conviction and elegance. I'm very excited to see the realm of nutritional psychiatry bloom over coming years. thankyou for this wonderful book

finally mental health sufferers can take back their power!
This is a wonderful and overdue book for everyone - not just those suffering serious mental health conditions. And, like Dr Ede says, the brain and body need the same nourishment, so the recommendations in this book will not only help your brain and mood but any ailment you may suffer.
Dr Ede goes through the research in a very easy to understand way, showing the logic in why the body thrives on some food and strongly rejects others.
There is nothing more liberating than being able to finally realise that you are not defective, you just haven't been feeding your brain the right things. if you read this book and try the suggestions I know you will have success because I did. I've been following Dr Ede for 7 years and this book really cemented everything I have learnt and practised, including why I have felt so good since changing to a carnivore diet 6 years ago.
