About this listen
From New York Times best-selling author A.L. Jackson, an exquisite new romance available in audio-first!
Sometimes trying to catch a star will light your whole world on fire....
Emily’s entire existence is wrapped up in touring with her up-and-coming country rock band Carolina George and trying to build them into a music legend. Her passionate night with a gorgeous, tattooed bad boy was the result of too much time on the road, too much tequila and combustible physical chemistry. It was never supposed to follow her into the light of day, much less threaten everything she and the band have worked so hard to create.
Royce’s night with the lead singer of Carolina George was the worst mistake of his life. He needs the band to sign on to his record label or his family will pay the price. But will his irresistible attraction to Emily destroy his carefully laid plans?
Royce’s past is littered with mistakes and heartache - will his love for Emily be just one more tragedy?

Overall a great listen. Love lust music and suspense.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to ‘Catch me when I fall’. I was in suspense trying to piece together the story right to the end.

definitely to drawn out
where to start. I have read a lot of A L Jackson's books especially the Rockstar stories. however this book was too drawn out and by chapter 22 I was ready to fold so I had to speed it up a little just to get through it. I knew roughly what was going to happen in the end but there was a twist I didn't see coming.
The description sometimes got in the way of the flow of the scene. for example fight scenes did not flow as there were too many adjectives flying around so it kind of got me frustrated. the heroine, sometimes I wanted to slap as she ran hot and cold with her flight or flight mode.
Not one of Ms Jackson's finest I much prefer the stories centred around s u n d e r. this story left a lot of open ends which is what the heroine addressed through the book so you would expect it to be tied up in the epilogue.
However it didn't, so exactly how it's going to work I guess only Ms Jackson knows. If you like lots of descriptive sentences and wanting to lose your senses and emotions then this book is for you. for me it was too drawn out and it could have been done with shorter chapters

DNF
I understand that a writer creates suspense in a story. However this was, at 25%, so full of descriptive wording the story itself got lost. Te back stories are coming out however the adjective use is excessive and I tune out. Not to the AL Jackson level I have come to know and love
