Publisher's Summary

The fourth heart-stopping novel in James Patterson's Alex Cross series. Just as Alex Cross is beginning to feel that life is good and he is finally coming out of the depression he's been in since the death of his wife, he is called to Union Station train terminal - a man is on the loose, firing at random into the swarming crowds of travellers.

Psychopath Gary Soneji seems determined to go down in a blaze of glory, and he wants Alex Cross to be there. Will this be the final showdown?

Voice changes

Great story but it took half the book to get use to the new reader and the changes in characters voices (from the last three stories).

Narrator is awful and grinding

The story line is great as always but damn... the narrator is horrendous. I wouldn't have pushed through listening if I wasn't so invested in the story. Seriously hoping he doesn't narrate any more

Great story but painful narrator.

Great story but painful narrator. I almost quit this audiobook because the narrator was such a bad fit. I got through it and enjoyed the sorry but hope the next in the series has the old narrator.

Another great story but narrator is dreadful

Loved listening to book 1 and 2 with Ako Mitchell narrating, but the narration in this book is just annoying and not enjoyable

Meh...

The narrators are painful to listen. The character names are not pronounced the same, as in previous books not sure if i can go through the whole book. If you have such a long series, get the absolute right narrator and keep him all the way through. The children sound like creepy freaks. Very dissapointing. You have a picture in your mind of characters, which is then blown out the window. The previous book narrator was not crash hot either, but one gets used to what has been established. Audible could have better quality control.

Unfortunate voice over choice

I tried, I really did, but in the end the mispronunciations of key character names, the cringeworthy character accents... I could not go past one hour.. will read instead
