About this listen
I'll cheat death to claim her. She belongs to me.
I owe everything to Emilia's father. I'd do anything for the man. When he asked me to marry his daughter, I thought he was insane. I was only going to protect her. That was my job. Yet, one innocent kiss changed everything. Now, it's not about what her father wants. It's all about her.
When enemies try to take her and the life we could have away, they will learn why they call me the devil. I'll show them no mercy. Emilia is mine, and God help anyone who tries to come between us.

A bit
I enjoyed this story for the most part. I wanted to really love it, but I found it a little bit light on storyline and action for the length of the audiobook. It seems a bit too long winded and drawn out. There’s not a whole lot that happens, it’s just kind of the same thing repeated over and over until the plot develops in Greece.
The story starts when Amelia is 14 which seems really unnecessary. If the story was to start with her at that age, that should have been covered with half a chapter, not drawn out for chapter after chapter.
There was one thing with this story that really didn’t sit well with me which is a 20 year-old woman referring to her father as daddy. What is with that? So cringe.
The narrators of this story were both great and really suited to the characters. Overall a good story albeit drawn out longer than needed.
