About this listen

Enjoy this short story by Mace Styx.

"Don’t be a fool! There’s no such thing as aliens, Roxy," Branden said in a tight, strangled voice. "Let’s get Frank out of this damn water." He wrapped his arms around Frank who was now moaning and wailing like a baby.

They all surrounded Frank. Gathering their strength, they heaved him up, and as they began to make their way towards shore. They all heard another thunder-like ricochet. But this time, it was multiple ones, and they were undoubtedly fired at them. They froze in shock as they looked up towards the sky. Racing at them, with menacing swiftness, was a plethora of laser beams. Roxy was the first to realize what was going on.

"I don't know what that thing is, but it wants to kill us." She wailed. "Guys, run."
