About this listen

Five alien rebels.
Five women snatched from Earth.

Step into a captivating world of alien romance and adventure with the thrilling box set of the Captured by Aliens series.

Book 1: Xul sets the stage with Athena awakening in what seems like a hellish nightmare—an alien slave ship, where her choices are grim: mate, become a sex slave, or face death. Desperation for freedom leads her to Xul, a handsome rogue alien with his own problems and a heart he dare not open. As they embark on a journey fraught with danger and passion, Athena finds herself irresistibly drawn to Xul, but can love truly blossom amidst the stars?

Book 2: Meet Piper in Crex, a fierce and independent human who finds herself stranded on an alien slave ship, facing an unimaginable fate. Her cellmate is a lethal creature with a cold heart, and despite the odds, she can't help but feel a connection. Falling for an alien killing machine was never part of her plan, but neither was abduction from Earth. With steamy scenes and an enthralling plot, Crex promises to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Book 3: A desert planet becomes the battleground in Yce as a Diana is unexpectedly thrust into a fight for survival. Her only companion, Yce, is an enigmatic alien who both infuriates and intrigues her. Hate turns to something unexpected, and their journey becomes a test of survival and trust in a harsh, unforgiving environment.

Book 4: In Kyris, emotions run deep as Kyris faces a challenging mission to protect a single human female. He's rescued countless slaves before, but none have stirred feelings within him like she does. Torn between duty and forbidden desire, Kyris battles his own demons as he fights to keep her safe.

Book 5: Evren's life takes an unexpected turn in Kyro when she's kidnapped by aliens and now finds herself living on a base full of rebels. Drawn to the enigmatic Kyro, she must navigate her

all 5 books. alien males and females I struggled to imagine

Xul
Lots of action and the introduction was bit gritty and confronting but it's scifi so I rolled with it.
There was a lot of nakedness in this plotline and the h being sassy and strong was definitely worthy in this book.
The H was a suprise when introduced and it was good to see a story evolve within all the typical tropes of captured women by aliens.
There wasn't much romance but it wasn't really called for as these H's are alien and uneducated in earth ways.
The steamy parts were just that, somple and steamy. However, i did grimace at the description of the H's body parts...it tended to make me wonder how the author figured this ....steam would work.?
Not much world building so we have very little information on the hero's background and culture.
The mission develops and is left to continue.
Crex
Yet another sassy, angry heroine and with just cause as the story unfolded.
Lots of action and courage and angst and this alien hero, falling for the h, was written with more ideal.
Crex has some suprises up his sleeve and it made for some exciting action and a clever save the day solution.
The mission stays on track just from piper and crex's point of view.
Yce
Diana is a stubborn and petulant heroine and of the 5 stories i liked this heroine the least.
The story between H and h was frustrating and I was close to skimming. A little too much stubbornness.
Again there was lots of action and suspense with near death scenarios. And again the H has a unique ability to close the story.
The attraction is building, unlike the previous stories but there was no romance, despite the slow burn. Again the male parts are a bit overdone and i don't know how it's supposed to work and then I wonder about Diana's top half. In this story she's more on the generous side but in book 1 shes running naked for her life. Hmmm.
The sexy scenes are a little more descriptive but It still baffled me.
However, their personalities makes for the attraction in this story.
It takes quite a ways into the book for her to get her brain in order.
Again we are heading along with the heroes on there quest, only this was Yce's and Diana's story
Kyris
A different H. He isn't as bad ass as some, but like Crex, there Is instapull.
And this H, is the most mate orientated of them all .
Again the male parts were overdone which made me keep on thinking how is this going to work. And then there was an extra dilemma to ponder on.
There was a descriptive bit of grit detailed via memories from the h and although she isn't as strong and sassy like previous heroines, she seems to work with the unsure, reluctant Hero.
There were some delicate moments in the storyline that moved the plot along from an unusual perspective.
There are different adversaries in this book, along with the old ones.
I did find a few more plot holes in this instalment though. All I can say is
Thank goodness for the little yoda lookalikes
Kyro
This starts with the H being intense, intelligent and information diligent on all things earth.
This makes for a star trek spoc type approach.
And to put things on the mate finds mate platform the heroine is a bookworm/scientist. She is like song, not sassy or bold.
The secret the H holds gives the plotline a little twist which makes for a refreshing addition to the main trope.
all in all simple, obvious trope, the best plot was the last book for me.
