Too Naive and too tedious

I got to Book 4, and no, I cannot go on. A Naive, simplistic story. Great for teenagers, not for grownups or fans of hard sci-fi.
The narrator makes the women's voices sound like whiny sissies: every female character, including the assassin. I barely made it through book #4. I will not be finishing the series. Moving on.
