Publisher's Summary

Allen Stevens received an invitation for him and his family to visit the California White House. He was informed that he had been selected to be the new director of operations for The Committee. Allen was given a new civil service cover position with the ISA, a newly formed intelligence group. His first task, as director of operations for The Committee, was to put together three teams to coordinate the terminations of the ringleaders of the plot to kill the president. The men, in three different time zones, were terminated at roughly the same time.

The next operation was to terminate the Muslim terror group trainer of the Turk who tried to assassinate Pope John Paul II. The mission was a success, but the two operators were surrounded by Syrian terrorists and were forced to seek refuge in a Syrian’s home, where they were protected by Islamic hospitality law. A ransom for release was established with the terrorists for the two operators. The president wouldn’t allow the money to be paid, setting up a confrontation at the Syrian/Jordanian border crossing.
