Good intro into the topic

Good, thorough and easy to understand but I feel like this is the sort of book I would have been better off getting a physical copy. Not really a criticism but North American focussed and should say this in the title if I'm honest. Hard to get Aussie relevant info. Like for example, our wood makes carrying an axe a bit obsolete and you would be better off with a saw. I think his advanced bushcraft book suffers more though because it has a whole section of wood types only found in North America. Still interesting though and only a minor criticism if anything

Excellent book, terrible audio book

Great narrator, great book, but because of the complexity of the descriptions relying heavily on diagrams and illustrations you are unable to grasp many of the concepts. Instead it just says ‘see below’ but of course, you can’t see the illustrations.
