Publisher's Summary
Jonah Steel is knee deep into trying to solve the mystery surrounding his family and his brother's abduction, and the arrival of his best friend has complicated the situation...although not as much as his infatuation with his brother's therapist, Dr. Melanie Carmichael. The quiet humility of the blond beauty has him enthralled, and he burns for her as he never has for any woman.
Melanie Carmichael is intelligent and driven, yet filled with regret. She has fallen in love with gorgeous Jonah Steel, but fears she may never be able to tell him. The demons from her past have come for her...and she may not get out alive.

Great story
I am loving the story . Each book takes you further and further into the suspense. Can't wait for the next book.

Poor reading of a story that has huge potential
Would you try another book written by Helen Hardt or narrated by Teri Clark Linden and Alexander Cendese ?
The story line for all the books has great potential however the narrators make it sound like a really bad Mills & Boon novel. The story is like a train wreck that you can't look away from - you have to know how the story finishes but each book leaves you hanging so you have to get to the next one but the narration is still terrible. The male narrators' female voice is laughable and the females voice is so "sound of music" like it makes it hard to listen to the steamy scenes without laughing.
What will your next listen be?
Unfortunately, I need to know how this story finishes so probably the next book in line.
Would you be willing to try another one of Teri Clark Linden and Alexander Cendese ’s performances?
