About this listen
Veral’monushava’skahalur is an oddity among his species, a lone Argurma cyborg divorced from his own kind by choice and to escape termination as a malfunctioning unit.
Wandering the fringes of space as a salvager, he comes across a planet beyond the boundaries of the federation, rich in metals remnant of a dead civilization. Or so he thought. Confronted by cannibalistic mutations of the indigenous species, his salvage has suddenly become a lot more complicated. Even more so when he encounters a female surviving on her own....
She is strong and fearless, begrudgingly earning his admiration. Terri is hardened by a life of hunger and watchfulness, and yet is moved by a compassion that he’s never possessed. When his admiration turns into the first signs of a forming mate-bond, he knows his fate is sealed. Unlicensed mating is forbidden - if his malfunctioning wasn’t already a death sentencing, taking her for her mate would be. Yet, he finds that letting her go is no longer an option.
Contains some graphic violence and sex that may not be appropriate for all audiences.

Amazing
Great book and amazing performed highly recommend. Love how the male and female POV were done and that it wasn't the male voice doing a female voice when he was reading but the actual female narrator and male narrator when each character spoke no matter whose POV the chapter was in.

surprisingly good
I do like that love and not breading was the main driver in this bonded mates story. I couldn't stop listening! The narrators were absolutely fantastic and a good match for each other. looking forward to more!

suprise suprise
I have to say, I'm a Anna Carven, Anna Hackett, Ruby Dixon, Ruby Lionsdrake kinda gal...even Zoey Draven and this story was waaay out of their plotline.
Most Aliens are normally somewhat easy if not acceptable on the eye. these Bad boys are nothing like that.
Ms Sanders tends to let the beauty lie in the eye of the beholder.
the story was In part, an old plotline rewritten but the reason for the H's appearance was different. the writing was great and paced nicely. the steam was .....different that's for sure.
there was a few cheesy bits especially near the end but it worked...for me anyway.
there was some ghastly grit and some abuse in parts that some may not like but I think it's been forewarned.
now this narration...I gotta say is something else!
it's pretty damn brilliant. the duo narration, as in male talking male parts and female talking female parts gives it so much more body.
Christopher does a brilliant job with the voice and the sounds
and Jessica is just as awesome. the tone and inflections are amazing..really sealed the deal with this unusual story.
I would read the next 2.
reviews of this authors other books aren't all that good and I normally would give them a go but the narrators are different so will stick to these 3
