About this listen

Traduzione in inglese

[The 1915 highlights, told in a definitive manner, as the war that is being fought is likely to involve different geographic scenarios, much more extensive than those that were initially hypothesized. On the western front and the eastern one will join Africa and the East: the clash between the Central Powers and the Allied countries of the Old Continent will move to new territories. The first true total conflict of the modern age will lead to a decisive change: from a Eurocentric political climate the world will go towards a new era dominated by global super-powers. The final part of the volume contains the "Appendices to the brief history of the First World War", the official documents of the period, such as the Circular of 21 August, 1915, in which the Italian government exposes the disputes between Italy and Turkey; or the Emancipation Proclamation (relative to the war between Italy and Turkey) addressed to the people of Libya from the Italian general Ameglio.]
