Publisher's Summary
A stunning, heartfelt new stand-alone by New York Times best-selling author Mia Sheridan - available in audio first!
Brant Talbot runs a glitzy network of high-end bars in New York City, enjoying all the benefits of the lavish lifestyle he's worked so hard to achieve. When he learns that his estranged father is dying, he must return to his family’s Kentucky horse farm - and to a past he thought he left behind.
While facing long-buried truths, he collides with his father’s secretary, Isabelle Farris. Despite his undeniable attraction to the beautiful, independent young woman, he sees secrets in her eyes and believes she has designs on Graystone Hill.
Now the one woman he can’t afford to trust is about to become the one he can’t let go.

story was good
narrator's were brilliant. Mr Morgan's Inflections were brilliant. chapter17 was nearly my end point. I've never read ms Sheridan work before and things went a little over the top for a time there. it didn't gel with me but I persisted. I guessed the mystery so that didn't keep me going but I started to warm to the descriptive writing and conch used. she seems to have strong plots but I felt it wasn't backed up with character narration...mind change was to easy to obvious....I've seen her others books and the plots look great...just don't know if she can deliver with depth?

Another great tale from Mia Sheridan
A great book full of services chances off all kinds. Chances to build bridges before it's too late, chances to find hope when all hope seems gone and a chance to love when loving is the last thing you feel capable of. The narration was spot on ad usual.
