About this listen
One badass mercenary. Four sexy-as-sin rebels. Bound together by powerful magic and dangerous desire....
In a world ruled by magic, surviving without it means I have to be quicker, smarter, and fiercer than the magical beings that run this city.
I get by just fine working as a bounty hunter...until what should be a routine take-down of an incubus and his buddies turns into a major clusterf#ck when something inside me goes haywire.
Turns out, I do have magic. And it's so powerful, it's bonded four insanely gorgeous men to me.
They're part of an underground rebellion fighting back against the magical elite, and they claim they need my help.
But if I agree to fight alongside them, I may be risking more than my life. I could lose my heart too.
Bound by Magic is the first book in the Magic Awakened trilogy, a slow-burn reverse harem romance featuring an ass-kicking heroine, magical intrigue, and four hot book boyfriends you won't have to choose between.

SB PA UF RH 👀
Intriguing, slow burn, almost post apocalyptic, urban fantasy, reverse harem romance ... there is a lot going on here without being chaotic, over simplified or cliche.
Bonded romance with some actual romance. Political discrimination and underground resistance that's not black and white. Kinda wish the main character had more flaws but I'm hoping the new situation she's being thrown into at the end will bring out some in book 2.

***FANTASTIC LISTEN***
I love Sadie Moss's unpredictable series but this book is not a slouch either. My favourite trope at the moment is an RH and rejected mates. This is an RH and it's totally additive and delicious. Can't wait for book 2. Thank you Heather for your excellent narrative.

Good book
This is a good book to listen to. This wouldn't be one of my favourite stories but it was still a good book with a nice mix of romance, forgotten lives, and action. The start of the book is definitely attention-grabbing with the action the reader is thrust into, showing the kind of life Lana - the female protagonist - lives. This is a story about a girl with a forgotten childhood who is revealed to be a magic-user when one of her missions as a bounty hunter goes sideways. The only reason she is not killed is because of the magic she holds. This brings forth the question of whom to trust when her whole life, she has relied on herself to survive. This book does end with unanswered questions, so if you think you will love this, make sure you are able to read the next book when you want to. If you think you will like this, definitely give it a try, it definitely isn't a disappointment.
