About this listen

Power-Fear-Balance-Deceit

It's over sixteen since Kiara Noir's confinement to the Colorado reservation.

Born here but not from here, she didn't know anything about her extended family or about her father. It was just Kiara and her mother, Willow, running a farm stand, and living a quiet life.

Kiara was anxious about her half-birthday. There was a blood ceremony to celebrate death and this year she wanted out of all the crazy rituals her mother forced her to do.

She had a new list to cover. Travel, attend a college off the reservation, and become a famous photographer. When her aunt arrived mysteriously, on her half birthday mark, proving a theory they were not wholly human, her wishes started to become a reality.

Now Kiara would find out who she was and exposed to a culture and land foreign to her. She must now choose between her quiet life back on the reservation or sacrifice herself for the greater good and beyond her death, to save the earth and balance the existence of every living creature.
