As he begins to sort through his aunt’s affairs, he quickly realizes things are not as they seem.
Tyler takes pleasure in the simple life Caloosa Springs offers. He takes joy from horseback riding and helping his parents on their small family farm. But after his mother plays matchmaker with Elizabeth’s nephew, Tyler is thrown into the deep end. A sweet and quirky small-town / cowboy romance!
Oliver is barely scraping by when he receives news that a long-lost aunt has left him a house and bookstore in the small town of Caloosa Spring, CO. He’s a little surprised to find the bookstore is actually a thriving weed business and the house is where his aunt has been growing the plants. However, Caloosa Springs welcomes Oliver with open arms, especially Tyler who helps run his family’s farm. Tyler soon woos Oliver who finally feels accepted and loved.
This was a short, sweet and very cute small-town / cowboy romance (138 pp, under 4 hrs on audio). It’s a low-angst story with two lovely, decent guys, no game-playing, and the sort of tender, supper-steamy moments I’ve come to expect from Chance Christopher. I also liked the quirky townsfolk, especially Tyler’s parents. 🎧 Blake Hayes is new to me and I enjoyed his narrative performance.
