About this listen
The twenty-fourth book in the hugely popular Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus series from New York Times bestselling author Faye Kellerman
They thought the murders were over.
But now there’s a new victim…
On a crisp September morning in the woods of upstate New York, Rina Decker stumbles upon human remains. She calls her husband, Peter, a former detective lieutenant with LAPD. Within hours, the forest is transformed into a frenetic crime scene.
As Decker and his partner, Tyler McAdams, further investigate, they realize they’re most likely dealing with a missing student from the Five Colleges of Upstate.
And when more bodies are found in the same area, Decker and McAdams know this isn’t just a one-off murder case. Now they must race to protect their community from a psychopathic killer still in the area – and on the hunt for a fresh victim.

Richard Ferrone works for Delaware not for Lazarus and Decker
Much to enjoy about Faye Kellerman’s Bone Box.
The plot is riveting and plausible.
Difficult to keep track of the characters. I.e. Who murdered who when and why.
But got this sorted with Siri and notes.
Just couldn’t come to grips with the narrator.
Perhaps I was too familiar with the Alex Delaware nooks.
Thought Ferrone was great for the Delaware books.
Perhaps there were too many voices and characters in Faye’s book for Ferrone?
Pity.
I appreciate the talents of the Kellermans. But gave up on Faye a few years back when the between chapters music became too intrusive.
My first venture back to Faye was interesting. Another good story spoiled this time by an inappropriate narrator.
