Publisher's Summary

She’s an innocent.

Caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

My Angel is the one who got away—the only person in the world I love. When she is caught in an unsanctioned bank robbery in my territory, only my reputation protects her.

She should have stayed away.

Instead, she charges back into my life like a shining beacon in my otherwise bleak existence. She has no place in my world where hardened criminals toy with the lives of the innocent.

A better man would let her go—again.

There’s no white picket fence in life with a Bellandi, and she deserves so much more. I pushed her away once, but now that she’s back I won’t let anything else come between us.

Not even Ivory herself.

Bloodied Hands is a full-length standalone novel with dark content. The Bellandi Crime Syndicate Series includes several full-length standalones that can be listened to in any order, but would present a better listening experience following the suggested listening order.

Enjoyed the storyline but didn’t connect with Ivory

While I enjoyed the storyline of this book, the FMC was annoying to me. I struggled to connect with her and it coloured my enjoyment of this book.

I read this on Kindle and read along with Audible. It didn’t help the female narration sounded very clinical.

DNF

I can't believe I pre ordered this. What a waste!!
there was absolutely nothing to like about this book. Hero leaves herione while in their teens with no explanation other than its safer. 12 years later, Bam, he changes his mind, declaring his undieing love by saying "he never slept with a girl more than once" . While the herione is your stereotypical "can't move on" chick that waits around twiddling her thumbs. She is an absolute door mat with no spine and just accepts all the terrible behaviour that the Hero puts her through. Her family and friends are just there, offering no help and adding no value to the story. The premise was intriguing as I love second chance romances but this was not a romance.
The narrators were terrible the herione sounded like a whiny teen and the Hero sounded like a prepubescent teen trying too hard to sound gruff. I got to 60% and couldn't take it any more.
