About this listen
Set in the same world as the New York Times best-selling Jane Yellowrock novels, an all-new series starring Nell Ingram, who wields powers as old as the earth.
When Nell Ingram met skinwalker Jane Yellowrock, she was almost alone in the world, exiled by both choice and fear from the cult she was raised in, defending herself with the magic she drew from her deep connection to the forest that surrounds her.
Now, Jane has referred Nell to PsyLED, a Homeland Security agency policing paranormals, and agent Rick LaFleur has shown up at Nell's doorstep. His appearance forces her out of her isolated life into an investigation that leads to the vampire Blood Master of Nashville.
Nell has a team - and a mission. But to find the Master's kidnapped vassal, Nell and the PsyLED team will be forced to go deep into the heart of the very cult Nell fears, infiltrating the cult and a humans-only terrorist group before time runs out....

To long winded for my taste.
Love this Author and narrator, but found this story kept loosing me, as events and emotions where explained far too much.

Soulwood
Soulwood was slow to start but I was hooked by the end. A off shoot from the Jane Yellowrock series that is the best series EVER. Soulwood's main character is not as aggressive as Jane Yellowrock, but still interesting with her magic ways. This story is filled with fantasy creatures, witches ware cats. Looking forward to the next book

A must for fans of Faith Hunter
I wasn't sure if I was ready to move on past the Jane Yellowrock series since I loved it so much. But this story was awesome & I can't wait to get into Book 2. Kristine Hvam does a great job on the narration too, as always.

Yet another book to love!
Any additional comments?
I just love all of Faith Hunter's work, I have never been disappointed yet and Blood of the Earth is no different. It's great to get another strong lead female character, keep them coming, can't wait to see where this series goes. Khristine Hvam narration of these books only enhances the enjoyment. I only wish the next book would arrive sooner :)
