Absorbing

Great book
An epic book, that takes numerous turns through the history of many Native American Tribes, intertwine Kit Carson and his history with that of theirs, controversial at times but one of my favourite audio books, must read.

Go West
Great story of the American West, listens like a John Ford Western. What times they were, some of the stories will never be forgotten and with books like this they never will. The Indian stories are heartbreaking and it was very fitting that the book finished with the Indians the first Americans.
