Publisher's Summary
For centuries, the werewolves of Toronto have managed to live in peace and tranquility, hidden quietly away on their London, Ontario farm. But now, someone has learned their secret - and is systematically massacring this ancient race. The only one they can turn to is Henry Fitzroy, Toronto-based vampire and writer of bodice rippers.
Forced to hide from the light of day, Henry can’t hunt the killer alone so he turns to Vicki Nelson for help. As they race against time to stop the murderer, they begin to fear that their combined talents may not be enough to prevent him from completing his deadly plan.

Meh
I'm a huge fan of the Blood Ties tv series that books inspired & really enjoyed Blood Price. But didn't really like this follow up, I found it a bit to confusing at times. Vicki is hired by a group of werewolves who are friends with Henry Fitzroy when someone starts killing them off. The premise of the story is ok, the wolves live on the land out of town not to be found out & run free in whatever form they choose. Less than a handful of humans know their secret. But someone has started killing them off while in wolf form. Vicki & Henry travel to the compound & start investigating to see if they can find & stop the killer before more wolves are killed in the meantime grow closer.... While Mike Celluci is trying to uncovered the truth about Henry.
I had trouble to keeping up with the wolf characters. The wolves had 2 names, their human name & their wolf name. It got confusing when they were changing back & forward between forms. I like the concept but this detract from the story & made it hard to know who was being talked about or in the scene. This I found the only let down & will continue with the next in the series.
