About this listen

Despite spilled blood and broken bones, from the ashes Blood Fury will once again rise.

Trip, son of the former president of the Blood Fury MC, is determined to resurrect his dead father's destroyed club. It’ll be a long, difficult road as the new president attempts to rebuild the club from the cold ashes left behind.

Bad blood and bitter memories are only some of the obstacles Trip has to overcome. The local police department, Manning Grove PD, is another, since they don’t want to see their small town once again overrun by outlaw bikers.

Then there’s Stella, a local bar owner and a major distraction Trip doesn’t need, but can’t resist, even though she gives him every reason to. She’s tough, she’s broken, and the last thing she wants in her life is a man like him.

In the end, Trip has to decide if the war is worth fighting. And if Stella is the warrior he needs battling by his side.

Blood & Bones: Trip is the first book in the Blood Fury MC series. As always, this book has no cheating, no cliffhanger, and has an HEA. While it’s recommended to listen to my Brothers in Blue series first, it’s not necessary.

The rise of the Phoenix

I have read the 1st book several times but using audible is so much better! I'm excited to start this series again and Trips story was amazing as it built the foundation of resurrecting the Blood fury. loved it and the narrators!

Im a huge fan of previous Jeanne St James books...

I was really looking forward to listening to a new Jeanne St James series! Although I didnt love this book as much as her other ones, it was ok and it did set up for the rest of this new series. I have listened to Sig's book and did really enjoy it, so it made me glad I stuck it out. Cant wait for more of this series.

Sexy, but felt unfinished

This was an enjoyable listen. It was very sexy and I felt the chemistry and passion. However I don’t think there was much plot. I actually liked the building of the MC part, but I really didn’t enjoy the descriptions of the old MC and how it crossed the line to abusive towards women. I know they hinted at the new version of the MC being better but there was too much detail on the past and not enough given to the future of the club and what they would stand for. It made me uneasy. I have read many many MC stories, but none painted a picture that bad for the women and old ladies.
I wish there was more of a plot for the h except being sad and fighting with the H. It got a bit repetitive.
It didn’t really feel like a HEA if I’m honest, it felt like a happy for now instead.
So it’s hard to rate this book. I liked both the characters and the chemistry was hot! But it felt underdeveloped and not enough plot for the h. Also a bit repetitive and I guess a bit too much reminiscing and not enough detail for what kind of MC Club this will be. I think it’s a problem if I read the whole book and don’t understand what this MC Club is going to stand for yet.
The Narrators were great. I liked them both. I do wish it was Duet instead of Dual narration. I prefer to have consistent voices for each character instead of alternating. But they both did a great job in their own right in their own chapters.
