About this listen
For Blizzard, the feeling of betrayal was one he knew well. His father, a longtime member of the Brothers by Blood MC, believed the brotherhood came first, even before his wife and child. At first Blizzard didn't even blame his mother for walking out on them. That was until he learned that she'd hooked up with a member of another MC, leaving him behind to deal with the aftermath.
He never thought he would feel that kind of pain again, swearing that his back would never again see the blade of another knife. That was until Rose came along, tempting him, drawing him in and then leaving him on the sidewalk, fighting for his life as she walked away with the enemy.
Rose had made many mistakes, hurting people who cared for her and destroying herself in the process. She was heading down a dark road and returning to the town where she lost herself - and her heart - was never part of the plan. When given the opportunity for redemption and with nothing left to lose she was about to throw herself back into hell. But karma against her, this time there might not be anyone coming to her rescue.
They say time heals all wounds, but time is running out.
Contains mature themes.

lots going on !
wow, this is why writers write, the storyline and subplots kept you listening. plenty of twists in the back half of the book and of course Ms Jane has set up yet another plot and subplot nicely.
Troy and Elizabeth did a stellar job as per usual.
the only familiar in the books is the plot running a bit thin on acceptability when the heroine gets into trouble.
I said this in the previous book, the president of an MC made an unprecedented decision in book 2 which spiralled the heroine into trouble I thought it was a Dick move and not really something that this president would do. especially the way he has been portrayed.
now I'm saying it again here, the VP of the MC did at least 3 Dick moves that isn't really what he's described as being. it jeoparrdised the heroine...hmmmm.....of course she had more to do with it as well.
and the other thing that annoys me is the overcooked family, loyalty, trust card that keeps getting repeated. granted it's said from a different character POV every time but it kinda makes the MC sound like angels, not outlaws....they are what they are, nothing needs the overkill that crops up time and again in every book.
ok, that being said,on the plus side, I still love the family and their interactions. it shows they are, at the base of everything..human and fallable.
(I think MC's world wide would probably disagree with the authors interpretation)
i love the writing, love the way it keeps moving and in this book, just when you think it's all said and done 2 more bombshells drop! well done Ms Jane. this series can be described simply....it's alpha, it's hot, it's angst, it's full of shocks and surprises and most of all, it's the club girls POV more so than the alphas....although in this book the heroine wasn't a club girl.
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
