Publisher's Summary
What happens when an almost 30-year-old virgin agrees to let her Scottish footballer best friend give her some lessons in seduction?
Lots of banter, awkwardness, jealousy, and heat.
Midfielder Maclay "Mac" Logan is a loud-mouthed, tattooed ginger content with focusing on football. But when an adorable, freckled seamstress comes barreling into his life, he finds Netflix-And-Bickering with her to be his new favorite pastime.
Freya Cook is used to being the invisible woman with a needle and thread, offering cheeky punchlines as she helps dress London's finest. She's plus-sized in body and spirit, and other than her friendship with Mac, talking to the opposite sex is one skill she never mastered.
However, after one innocent game of Never Have I Ever, Mac offers to play Love Coach for Freya.
What neither of them see coming are the feelings that develop when the clothes come off.
Now they’re both about to learn the biggest lesson of all: Don't fall in love with your best friend.
Blindsided is a full length (97,000 words) contemporary rom-com standalone with a sports theme.

AMAZING
This was an adorable friends to lovers romance. I loved listening to this audiobook with its amazing narration (including the accents), duet narration (meaning the male narrator spoke for the male characters and vice versa with the female narrator), and an amazing story overall. In this book, Freya (the female protagonist) is a fun, loving crazy person who is obsessed with animals (especially horses and cats), and occasionally starts talking to inanimate objects when she has something to say (I'm sure we've all done that at some point or another). Mac (the male protagonist) is a buff Scottish football player who isn't afraid to love (unless he is so daft he can't see what's in front of him) and laugh and be himself, even when it may be a bit different to everyone else. These two are definitely a match made well, one that I'm sure will leave lots of readers wishing for a romance like it. This isn't the first book I've listened to/read by Amy Daws and won't be the last with the amazing stories she brings out. An amazing book I would definitely recommend if you think you will like it.

New author, loved it.
what a listen. I loved the accent which piqued my interest to begin with and ...not to be a spoiler alert person....I laughed loudly through some of the scenes. Amy daws writes some belly shaking antidotes. it was truly refreshing. simple storyline but refreshing. Harris brothers sound interesting..might have a go

will and Charlotte are a beautiful pairing and compliment each other's reading styles beautifully. they have a way of bringing the characters to life and their accents are just yummy to listen to.

duet narration chefs kiss!
great story, great narration, the Cornish accent to a bit to get used to, and it was a shame Mac wasn't more Scottish sounding.
