Review
I thought this was a bit slow when I first started. once i got t into the book it engrossed
me. grwat but sad story wrote and narrated with great sensitivity.

Just WOW - inspirational!
I’ve decided this is my fave Nicole Trope novel.
Beautifully written full of friendship, love, heartbreak and sorrow. Addiction and the reality of caring for a special needs child. Inspirational!!

OK but a bit grim
I think if I'd read this I might not have finished it. Nicole Trope has written better - I much prefer the boy under the table.

missed the mark for me
although much of what was said in this story is very true, I found it hard to stomach. There were no happy characters in this story and I found myself getting depressed by it.
