About this listen

When a recently widowed friend asks a favour, ex-bomber pilot and former POW Detective Charlie Berlin is dropped into something much bigger than he bargained for. What starts with body parts disappearing from funeral parlours leads to Blackwattle Creek, once an asylum for the criminally insane and now home to even darker evils. If Berlin thought government machinations during World War II were devious, those of the Cold War leave them for dead.©2012 Geoffrey McGeachin (P)2012 Bolinda Publishing Historical

Dark and Relevant

A dark glimpse into our past that are still relevant in today's world. Surprised where Berlin wound up after the first book. Not exactly what I was expecting but it was an interesting mystery with a surprising twist. And an ending that makes you think about the big picture.

A very easy listen with a good performance. Looking forward to the next one.
