About this listen

From New York Times best-selling author Meghan March comes a story of untold truths and one man’s redemption in the Dirty Mafia Duet - available in audio first!

Every family has a black sheep. In the infamous Casso crime family, that black sheep is me - Cannon Freeman.

Except I’m not a free man. I’ve never been free. Not since the day I was born. I owe my loyalty to my father, Dominic Casso, even if he won’t publicly acknowledge me as his blood.

I’ve never had a reason to go against his wishes...until I met her.

Drew Carson turned my world upside when she walked into my club looking for a job.

Now, my honor and my life are on the line.

Going against my father’s wishes might buy me a bullet straight from his gun, but black sheep or not, it’s time to make my stand.

She's worth the fallout.

Holy Cliffhanger!

It's always a little bit harder to get into the story when it's audible I find. But I still enjoyed this and loved the build up of the story. That cliffhanger though was just cruel.

Wow

Oh my, heart beating through my chest ending. Loved this story of two hearts recognising instantly that they have met the one. Add in a few hiccups and what a story. Narration from Sebastian and Andi is awesome as always.
On to part two.

What a Cliffhanger!!!

Black Sheep ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Dirty Mafia Duet Book 1)
Meghan March
**SPOILERS**

Firstly we’re going to need to put a rush on White Knight Ms Meghan. Oh my goodness WHAT a cliffhanger. What are you doing to us? How? Who? How..........how did Dom find out?
To me Cannon was always just a side character in the first 2 Dirty series. It was only in the Real Dirty Duet when he popped in on Creighton & Holly’s daughters baptism that intrigued me to want to know more about him. Thankfully Meghan has come to the rescue and given him his own story.
What I wasn’t expecting was his heroine to be the infamous journalist from the Real Duet. As soon as the name Memphis Lockwood was mentioned I spent the rest of the chapter working back through the books to figure out where she was from (Yep, had to re-listen to that chapter)
After losing his Mother, poor Cannon has had a bitch of a life being a lackey for Dominic Casso, never being able to live his own life. Just surviving as yet another Bastard child of “The” Dom. Seriously did this man ever put it away? Are there going to be more Casso children coming out of the woodwork?
What am I wishing for in White Knight? Cannon to get his girl and live happily ever after (Obs) and Cannon and Creighton to reunite and become true brothers.

So good to listen to

Story - 4 stars
Narration - absolutely amazing 5 stars (love these 2 narrators!!!!!)

Black Sheep had an intriguing storyline with Drew Carson right from the beginning. Drew is determined, dedicated, and willing to go to great lengths to get what she needs. Her attraction to Cannon Freeman is immediate, he's not what she was expecting to find when she started working at the club. I couldn't wait to get to the part of the story where Cannon realised who Drew really was.

And of course Black Sheep ended on a cliffy just when the action I'd been hoping for began. Really looking forward to listening to White Knight now, hopefully the fall out is going to be action packed.
