really enjoyed
i actually loved this series, full of tension, suprises, love, angst and a whole lot of steam. only criticism in my point of view is narration- loved Cassandra but having male and female is definitely better

Good Why Choose Dark Romance Series
This series follows Mercy whose father gets in trouble with a local gang called the Black Roses. She is forced to live with three members of the gang Sloan whose father is the leader, Levi who she has had a past with and Rory a flirtatious who gives of golden retriever vibes. Mercy is determined to get to the bottom of what’s going on with her dad and the gang. Can she find out the truth before it’s too late and she loses the only person she has left?
Fight Dirty - Book 1
I loved this first book Mercy is such a strong FMC. The whole plot with the dad was great. Sloan is mysterious and grumpy, Levi is a past fling but also cares and Rory feels like a golden retriever with flirty energy. Rory’s reveal in the book when she followed him was fantastic. I did not see that coming or the ending as a matter of fact. Really solid start to the series and the narration is also well done by Cassandra Medcalf.

Play Rough - Book 2
This book was great and infuriating at the same time. I loved the plot of this but I was screaming that’s not a good idea and you shouldn’t do that the whole time. I love how the men don’t mind sharing but get a little jealous. This ended on a cliffhanger, so I’m excited for the next book just wish the ending few chapters were done a little differently to really put me on edge.

Wreak Havoc - Book 3
We are losing the plot at this point. We got bits of it but every other chapter is spice and at times pages of it. Now don’t get me wrong I love spice but plot is the winner for me. I do love these characters but unfortunately just were lacking in plot. Hugh’s storyline was strange to me hopefully we will get more answers in the third book!

Love Hard - Book 4
The final book finished and I have to say I’m glad it’s over. Unfortunately, I was good just not great. Another book where spice was every other chapter with little plot. In this book I wasn’t fussed about the characters anymore or the plot twists that happened

I enjoyed overall just lost the way towards the end. I believe this is some of Eva’s earlier work so I will try some of her more recent works in the future.
Audiobook narration was good just would prefer a dual narration.

Pretty good
This book was entertaining enough but not as good as others by this author. It was a bit of a turn off when the female character constantly talking about how hot she is.
