About this listen
Ezekyle Abaddon and his warlords strive to bind the newborn Black Legion together under threat of destruction. Now Khayon, as Abaddon's most-trusted assassin, is tasked with ending the threat of Thagus Daravek, the self-proclaimed Lord of Hosts - a rival to the Ezekyle's final fate.
Fighting the vile whispers of the Dark Gods within his mind, Abaddon turns a fevered gaze back to the Imperium, where his destiny awaits. Yet the Emperor's Champion and his Black Templars stand guard at the gates of Hell, and Sigismund has waited centuries to face Abaddon in battle.

WE ARE RETURNED
If you like Abbadon this book is for you. Jonathan Keeble is the GOAT of narrating audio books.

Good read, solid 2nd entry in this series
I enjoyed this but would say Talon of Horus was slightly better. Relationships between the main character aren't covered as well as in the first novel, and hence some of the motives and connections seem a bit thin. That said, I still recommend this book and am looking forward to the next outing of Iskandar and the Black Legion

Fantastic read
Another foundational tale from a truly talented author. J9nathon Keeble is by far my favourite 40k narrator. An absolute gem!!

Meaty and gruesome.
Could not wait to get home and read the next chapter, the gorey detail of this author always pulls through.

Brilliant
Brilliant sound quality and acting by Jonathan Keeble. As with the first book, I really enjoyed the follow up story post Horus Heresy.

Flawless
Couldn't put this down. The story is so compelling, the voice acting outstanding, and it keeps you sucked in with every chapter. Aaron Dempski-Bowden is a God in the 40k Black Library space.
