Worth the read?

Yes. It's part of the series and I like the direction the author has gone. I enjoy the OP protagonist but would have been good for him/them to have faced a strong opponent who gets more threatening as the books progress. Also he doesn't appear to have "lost " anything to avenge. Would have been cool if at some point he had to face someone else from his home land. I'm happy with this purchase
