About this listen

Suddenly, going into work ain't so bad.

In a world like ours—except there's elves and goblins, so way better—Michael is dealing with some very human problems. He just fired his useless nephew as his tomb-raiding assistant.

On top of that, his uncle's fallen ill, so he's got to uproot his life to look after the business, an antique shop in the city. It's full of artifacts from the age of heroes. Swords, gems, and helmets galore.

There's just one hitch. There's only one employee, and she's a moody goth.

Fortunately, Serena the half-elf is a babe...but she's also completely insane. Her moody attitude soon warps into scary obsession, though that could come in handy when they have to work together to save the city from the grips of an evil relic's spell.

And if they succeed…can he fix her, or will they make each other worse?
