5 stars for the story. narration let it down
Like all other Rebecca Yarros, this story once again pulled me in. I loved the story.
Teddy Hamilton was great like normal, unfortunately the female narrator really let it down for me and I struggled listening to her.

Loving this series
Rebecca Yarros just knows how to get you to fall in love with her characters and buy in to their story. Loved this instalment.

Best book of the series
Absolutely loved this one, the best book of the series. my only gripe was the woman narrator who made Grason sound like someone trying to impersonate Batman

A Solid Romance
If you're looking for a simple, sweet American young adult romance, this is it.
I found the female voice actor well enough for the fmc, but almost intolerable as the mmc, and it took me out of the romantic scenes almost entirely, (especially any spicy scenes).
The story itself is exactly what you expect to gain at this point in the series. Simple, solid romance. Textbook Rebecca Yarros

Get a new female narrator
Loved the story but the woman’s voice ruined it for me. The last book was much better in terms of performance and getting hooked in.

Could not finish
This could have been an amazing story but unfortunately the female narrator did not hit the spot for me to the point where I had to stop listening. Just ruined the whole experience.
