“We’re bound together,” he did say looking away from her pain, the sorrow she seemed to suddenly wear, that he too felt overtake him. “Mid-day?” he said confused for when he came in search of her it had been early morning. He rose, a thunderous pounding in his head. He grabbed his head with his hands, bending over…. He moaned in discomfort. “Why are you doing this?” he growled. Looking at her, his face disfigured with pain. “Why are you taking this from me? From us?” he demanded. Her name was in his mind though she’d never told him. Her name rolled to the tip of his tongue and he whispered it…..
